Saint Joseph Martin
Saint Joseph Martin is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) located in Martin, Kentucky. It is one of three hospitals operating in Floyd County. Saint Joseph Martin is designated as a rural CAH with 25 Medicare certified beds. The hospital serves Floyd and surrounding counties. In addition to the hospital, Saint Joseph Martin operates four rural health clinics. The hospital employs 140 individuals. The CFO is Mr. Robert Brock.
The hospital, formerly known as “Our Lady of the Way” was founded in 1947. In January 2008 Our Lady of the Way Hospital became part of Saint Joseph Health System and is now named Saint Joseph Martin. Saint Joseph Martin is part of KentuckyOne Health, the largest health system in Kentucky with more than 200 locations including hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician offices, and more than 3,100 licensed beds. An 18-member volunteer board of directors governs KentuckyOne Health, its facilities and operations, including Saint Joseph Martin, with this mission:
