KentuckyOne Health at the Kentucky State Fair

KentuckyOne Health is proud to be a sponsor / participant of the Kentucky State Fair to be held August 16 – 26, 2012 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville. KYOne will have a 30′ x 60′ exhibit in the “Health Horizons” area of the South Wing that will focus on our organization’s new statewide health care structure as well as our leadership in cardiovascular care.

Approximately 60 clinical and non-clinical volunteers will be needed each day to staff the KYOne exhibit during the 10-day event. Volunteers are needed for areas such as registration, health screenings, health information tables and leading visitors through our giant inflatable, interactive heart – a first for the Kentucky State Fair! Volunteers will receive a KYOne shirt, free parking and free admission to the fair. To sign-up for volunteering at our exhibit, please view the available shifts by clicking on the ‘View Shifts List’ link below.

After clicking on the link, just click on the Register button for any specific shift that you would like to volunteer for. If you would like to volunteer for multiple shifts, just click on Add to Cart on each shift, then click on View Cart to finish registration.

If you would like to see the shifts in a calendar view, click on the link ‘View Shifts Calendar’.  Click on any entry to Register for the shift.  If you would like to register for additional shifts, go back to the calendar and click on the next shift.

For each shift registered for, you will receive a confirmation email.

Volunteer slots will be filled on a “first-come” basis, so I encourage all KYOne Health employees from across the state to embrace this wonderful opportunity to tell our exciting new “story” to a statewide audience visiting the fair.
